Guidelines for Espoused Theory of Leadership (ETL)

The purpose of this ETL is to encourage you to begin thinking about your leadership.  You have learned about Shackleton, have some initial ideas about  Reframing in Part I and downloads, and have completed the  Leadership Self Questionnaire.

Based upon these resources,  plus  your own thoughts, this assignment asks you  to  develop a short statement  about how you describe your leadership, not leadership in general, but your leadership as you  understand it. Another way to think about the assignment is to assume you are interviewing for a job in which you have formal authority and responsibility for others. The interviewer asks you, "tell me how you plan to lead this group ."
