When you email me about this course, please place on the subject line: BMA Course #, and your last name, e.g., "BMAxxx-McGilicutty" and anything else you think important, e.g., "BMAxxx-McGilicutty: About the assignment". This will help me sort through email for the course and give yours priority.

UMKC Information Services has Email Distribution Lists based on the class enrollments. These lists make use of your UMKC email address which serves as your official address for all University communications.

The lists can only be used by the unit's instructors and the members of the list. In addition, the membership of the list is hidden from all users. This is necessary to protect the student's privacy rights. There is a 24 hour lag time before a given add/drop transaction will be reflected in a given list. Info services will update the list once per day (Monday through Friday) for the first six weeks of the semester.

On occasion I will communicate information about the course using this distribution list as the official UMKC mail list. I can't add your personal email address to the list.

If you use another email host, you will need to instruct your UMKC email account to forward all copies of UMKC email to your other host or vice versa. How to forward email from UMKC Outlook

UMKC email provides good service especially in handling large attached files (e,g., better than hotmail).
