Your contact information will be given to the mentor and he/she will be asked to contact you to arrange the initial meeting. However, please feel free to contact your mentor if you do not hear from him/her within a week of receiving your match letter.

Here are some helpful hints to get your mentoring relationship started:

  ·        Discuss career goals and aspirations.  Discuss what career goals you have chosen and how you intend to achieve the

·        Discuss educational plans.  What do you hope to learn and how do you plan to learn it?

·        Ask what skills or competencies will you need to enter and be successful in your chosen field?

·        You may want to review your resume or even set up a practice interview with your mentor.  

Lunching with other mentor/mentee pairs may provide a comfortable and diverse learning environment.  To inquire about other mentors/mentees interested in getting a group together or for any other questions call
